At Reina’s Rabbits & Guinea Pig Hotel, each guest receives safe, species-appropriate care in a calm, indoor, temperature-controlled environment. We focus exclusively on rabbits and guinea pigs — no dogs, cats, or mixed-species boarding.

🐰 Rabbit Boarding

Your rabbit is housed in a clean exercise pen (5’3” x 5’3” or 7’10” x 2’7”), with:
  • A fresh water bowl
  • Unlimited fresh hay
  • A hide spot
  • A litter box (Litterbuns or Rooly) to monitor waste output and keep them clean
Our pens allow room to hop, binky, and relax. During quieter times of the year, we often upgrade pen sizes at no extra charge — or you may book two pens to guarantee additional space.

🐹 Guinea Pig Boarding

Guinea pigs stay in a large pen with:

  • Fleece bedding

  • A hide spot

  • A kitchen area with unlimited fresh hay

  • Fresh water bowl

Space can be customized based on the number of piggies, giving plenty of room for popcorning and exploring.

🛡️ Safety & Cleanliness

  • All pets are kept indoors only — never outdoors, unless emergency evacuation is required.

  • Pens are separated with visual dividers so guests cannot see or touch each other.

  • We do not do group play — rabbits and guinea pigs cannot safely interact with unfamiliar animals.

🌿 Feeding & Hay

We can happily feed our home-grown/locally sourced hay (mixed grass hay, no acids or preservatives). Please bring at least two days worth of your pet’s current hay so we can transition gradually.

  • Rabbits may be fed our pellet blend (currently Martin’s + Oxbow) or their own.

  • Guinea pigs may be fed our pellet blend (currently Martin’s + Oxbow) or their own.

  • Veggies are fed once or twice daily based on your pet’s routine.

We always make sure our guests are eating hay first, before adding in any other food types. We never restrict hay and offer fresh hay daily. It is always better to send your pet with slightly more hay than you think they will need, however if they do look like they will run out, we will supplement with our hay at no extra charge.

💛 Daily Care

Your pet will be monitored throughout the day for:

  • Eating

  • Pooping

  • Behaviour and comfort

We learn each pet’s personality — some love cuddles, others enjoy space and quiet. We respect that.

Nail trims are included for all guests unless you request otherwise.
