A minimum of 14 day's notice is required to cancel a booking.  A 40% booking fee is non-refundable and will be retained if a cancellation is made.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled drop-off date are non-refundable, and no monies will be returned. If we are able to fill your reserved space with another booking, the 40% booking fee will still be retained, but any remaining balance paid will be refunded for the days rebooked by another guest.

All animals are boarded indoors in a non-smoking, temperature-controlled environment and receive daily attention.

Animals will never be placed outdoors.

Animals will not come into contact with other boarded animals.

We provide - Xpens, a hide, water bowl, litter box and litter, up to 1 cup of assorted vegetables twice daily, fleece bedding for guinea pigs, socialization/pets/cuddles throughout the day, daily pen cleaning and tidying, FREE nail trim during each stay, one FREE basic brushing session for those staying 6 calendar days or longer (not a deshedding session), our hay and our pellets (if needed).

Owners are not permitted inside the boarding area.  Pets must be dropped off and picked up at the door using a secure carrier in good repair that locks, with personal items packed in a labeled bag.  Please bring any items your pet requires for comfort.

If your animal becomes ill while in our care, every effort will be made to contact you immediately.  If veterinary care is required - your emergency contact will be expected to pick up and take your pet to a vet clinic.  If we are required to transport your pet to a nearby bet clinic, a fee of $200 will need to be paid before we can leave, and that will cover the first 2 hours that we are away with your pet.  Additional time will be billed at $75/hour.  You will also be responsible for the full veterinary invoice.  All expenses must be paid in full before the pet is released back to the owner.

We understand that plans can change and will try to accommodate scheduling adjustments.  If space allows and advance notice is given, stays may be extended at the regular boarding rate, with payment due prior to pick-up.  If we are fully booked and unable to extend your pet's stay, your pet must be picked up on the prearranged day.  Failure to pick up as scheduled will result in the No-Show Fee in addtion to the regular boarding fee (see pricing section).

You declare that all information provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

You understand that omissions, false, or misleading information may result in immediate termination of services, and you will be liable for any costs or damages that arise as a result.

You are aware of the current rates in effect at the tie of this agreement.

You agree and authorize A. King (Reina's Rabbits & Guinea Pig Boarding) to care for your pet(s) for the entire booked duration. You authorize A. King to take any reasonable or necessary actions to maintain the health and well-being of your pet(s) during their stay.

Full payment of boarding fees is required to secure your booking.  Payment is accepted by e-transfer or cash only. You agree to pay all applicable boarding fees and any additional charges incurred during your pet's stay, including grooming, medical care, transportation, or other required services. All fees must be paid in full before your pet(s) will be released back to you.

All payments are non-refundable.

A. King reserves the right to decline or terminate services at any time, for any reason, at their sole discretion.

You understand that A. King is not a veterinary clinic or facility, and that all medical needs will be referred to a licensed veterinarian.

You agree to inform A. King immediately if your pet becomes unwell before or after a booking is confirmed and paid for. A. King can assist in providing care as directed by a licensed veterinarian, provided the condition is not transmissible.  Additional costs may apply.

Pets that are ill with a suspected or confirmed transmissible condition will be denied boarding until cleared by a veterinarian.

In the unfortunate event that your pet passes away during their stay, you will be contacted immediately to provide the instruction on your final wishes. If a pet passes away before the end of the boarding period, unused days are non-refundable.

A. King will make reasonable attempts to contact you if your pet is not picked up on the scheduled date. If you are unreachable for more than 5 days, your pet may be surrendered to the SPCA or appropriate authorities, and a report of abandonment may be filed.

Annual vaccination against RHDV2 is strongly recommended prior to boarding for any rabbits. You acknowledge that RHDV2 is highly contagious, easily spread through animals, people, and objects, and can survive in an environment for up to 3.5 months. You understand that there is currently no cure for RHDV2, and although precautions are taken, no boarding environment can guarantee complete prevention.  By filling out a boarding application, you agree to hold harmless and indemnify A. King and any staff from liability related to illness or death due to RHDV2.  

You understand that stress-related issues (from grooming, separation, or transport) may occur, and that illness, injury, accidents, or death are possible risks despite best efforts.

You hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to hold harmless and indemnify A. King and any staff from all liability, claims, demands, or actions arising from the use of their services, including those allegedly caused by negligence. 

By completing a boarding and/or grooming application you hereby agree to all terms & conditions found on this page.
